In 1989, two South Dakota farm boys schemed on a business plan to open a car wash in Sioux City, Iowa. Their entrepreneurial skills were already proven with other ventures, so they decided to take a huge risk and borrow a large sum of money in order to start a business with which they were completely unfamiliar. With the help of a dealer who guided them through the process, sold them plans and equipment, and shared a lot of experience, Hamilton Touchless Autowash of Sioux City was established.
The years that followed were very successful, and with the assistance of many partners who brought good work habits and great ideas, the business expanded.
Touchless Autowash currently operates facilities in Sioux City, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Coralville, Iowa, as well as Omaha, Nebraska.
